If you have symptoms associated with coronavirus including a new continuous cough and/or a high temperature, you are advised to stay at home for 7 days. Do not book a GP  appointment or  attend your GP Practice.

If your symptoms are serious or get worse, NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need further medical help and advise you what to do.

Only call 111 direct if you cannot go online, or are advised to do so by the online service.

Key information for patients about the coronavirus vaccine

The NHS is currently offering the COVID-19 vaccine to people most at risk from coronavirus.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine is safe and effective. It gives you the best protection against coronavirus.

We will let you know when it’s your turn to have the vaccine. It’s important not to contact the NHS for a vaccination before then. Please wait to be contacted.

At this time, the vaccine is being offered in some hospitals to:

  • some people aged 80 and over who already have a hospital appointment in the next few weeks
  • people who work in care homes
  • health care workers at high risk

The vaccine will be offered more widely, and at other locations, as soon as possible.

The order in which people will be offered the vaccine is based on advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).

Meanwhile, we must all continue to adhere to stick to the local tier restriction rules and remember hands, face, space.

If you are thinking of going to Croydon A&E, you can avoid busy waiting rooms by booking an appointment to get the best service for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to get help you can:

  • Go to 111.nhs.uk (for people aged 5 and over only)
  • Call 111 for FREE from a landline or mobile phone (all ages)

As your GP practice, we can see you by phone, online or in-person, so don’t delay if you feel unwell.

If we are not open, NHS 111 is now able to book same-day appointments for people in Croydon who need urgent care and support.

Our trained health advisors, including hospital doctors, nurses, GPs, paramedics and pharmacists are available 24/7 to help you get the right care close to where you live.

If your care is urgent, but not life-threatening, you could be booked an appointment at a set time in A&E, meaning shorter waiting times and safe social distancing in hospital to protect you and others from coronavirus.

Guaranteed access to a clinician within 48 hours, Monday to Friday

Your Family Practice is a family run surgery, committed to providing high-quality medical care in a friendly and comfortable environment. The Vajpeyi Family have been practising from the same building for more than 30 years, but the practice has undergone huge changes over the past few years.

We believe that patients receive the best possible care when it’s provided by a healthcare professional who genuinely knows their patient. Primary care, perhaps more than any other service, requires the personal approach. That’s why we make it a priority to get to know our patients, understand their situation and healthcare requirements.

Our approach to care has yet again shown dividends, as we have this past year achieved the maximum available QOF (Quality and Outcomes Framework) points for our clinical care.
